Chandy College of Education is run and managed by Pitchandi PoornamaalaiAmmal Trust. Sri.P.Selvaraj is the Chairman of the Institution.The college was started in November 2007.The College has been recognized by NCTE, affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University for the B.Ed. degree course and Accredited with ‘B’ grade by NAAC. From the day of its inception the college is growing from strength to strength and the college has produced almost 100% result in all the academic years.
The main aim of our college is to provide Good Quality Education to the students.
This college is permitted to offer one year degree course, to eligible students selected as per the norms of Government of Tamilnadu.
This college is to follow the syllabus and curriculum prescribed by the Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.

The outstanding performance of our students in academic, curricular and sports, bear testimony to the caliber, sincerity put in by our staff.
The primary aim of the institution is to impart sound education and discipline based on moral values. To achieve this, emphasis is made on both academic and co-curricular activities. The thrust on character building will be the focal point in our student formation at all levels.
We have maintained the unbeaten legacy of cent percent results in the B.Ed university examination during the consecutive years (2008, 2009, 2010). Our students also secured State and District ranks subject wise.
